It’s tempting to jump on marketing and fun commercial jobs. It’s easy, it’s offering people those things they so quickly are convinced they need. It’s a sufficient income, it’s stability, it’s working with enjoyable people, it’s being one step ahead of the crowd and leaving when people pick up on the hype to move on to the next. Or the creation of that.
Yet, randomly promoting stuff that no one ever really needs is so freaking hollow that I don’t even want to be able to get out of bed for a job like that. Something is so ridiculously wrong with the world, if requesting for a useful, sustainable product to promote often means getting less money for the job.
